Actors Mobile ADR™

Actors Mobile ADR™ provides Actors with a method to record their ADR in sync to picture on their iPhone/iPad, with traditional beeps, wipe, preview, and playback of the recorded ADR.

The Editor sends encrypted videos to the Actor who then records their dialog in sync to picture, just as they would on a traditional ADR Recording Stage. The Actor may record with the built-in microphone or connect the Rode VideoMic Me-L, and headphones are preferred but optional. If recording with the iPhone’s built-in speaker, Actors Mobile ADR will automatically mute the guide track on the third ADR beep. The Actor may playback and select preferred takes to email back to the Editor. The ADR Recordings are Wav 24/48.

Actors Mobile ADR™ is free for Actors to record to the encrypted videos that Editor sends, without buying a subscription. Production Manager or Post Coordinator can also use Actors Mobile ADR for free, to preview guide tracks or playback ADR recorded takes.
Editors needs to purchase an in-app subscription of $49.99 per year to be able to import non-encrypted videos, before sending them to the Actor. Payment will be charged to the iTunes Account after purchase confirmation. The subscription is auto-renewing, and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Otherwise your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. All charges will be made and appear on user’s iTunes account. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your iTunes Account Settings at any time.
